SUSTAINABILITY
Boxeroo boxers use sustainably sourced fabrics, that are 100% plastic free and 100% biodegradeable.

BOXEROO’S PROMISE TO YOU AND OUR PLANET
Boxeroo boxers are made using sustainably sourced TENCEL lyocell, a cellulose fibre that’s sourced from forests and derived from beech tree pulp. The raw beech tree pulp material is sourced from controlled and certified origins that conform to PEFC and FSC standards of sustainable forest management. This is a 100% plastic free material that naturally controls moisture and prevents the growth of bacteria. Furthermore, TENCEL is an entirely biodegradable material, which means that none of our boxers will end up in a landfill.
WHAT IS TENCEL LYOCELL?
TENCEL is the brand name owned by the Austrian company Lenzing AG, who offer two fabrics under the TENCEL brand, TENCEL Lyocell and TENCEL Modal. Lyocell is a type of semi-synthetic fibre that is known for its sustainability and comfort. It is made from sustainably sourced wood pulp, primarily eucalyptus trees, and is manufactured using a closed-loop production process that minimises environmental impact. Lyocell is a form of regenerated cellulose used for making textiles, and is characterised by its unique production method. The production of Lyocell avoids using carbon disulfide, which is harmful to workers and the environment, unlike some common processes used to make rayon. TENCEL Lyocell is highly regarded for its softness, durability, hypoallergenic properties, and moisture-wicking abilities, making it an excellent choice for sensitive skin and products requiring good thermo-physiological performance. Additionally, TENCEL Lyocell is often blended with other fabrics, such as cotton, to achieve different characteristics.
